GET INVOLVED

Students

Welcome to the CHARLI website, and thank you for your interest in research and scholarly activities at Life University. My name is Dr. Christie Kwon, and I am the Research Chair for the College of Chiropractic at Life U. We may know one another from various classes, and I look forward to getting to know you better through this role.

My goal is to help you develop ideas for a project and pursue support through CHARLI programs alongside your faculty/staff mentor. On this site, you’ll be able to explore all of the programs and guidelines for opportunities, such as RISE (Research, Innovation, Service and Education) Scholarships; Research Track; information on both past and current CHARLI projects; volunteer and Work-Study programs; and much more.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at Christie.Kwon@life.edu with any questions or to get involved in research!

As the Research Chair for the College of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (CGUS) at Life University, I’m here to support your academic and research endeavors, particularly for those studying in fields like biology, business, exercise science, nutrition and psychology. An important tool in this mission is CHARLI, Life University’s comprehensive research platform.

 What CHARLI Means for You:

Broad Research Access: CHARLI provides access to a wide array of research projects and studies across different disciplines, offering valuable insights and learning opportunities.

Showcase Your Work: It’s a platform where your research contributions or significant class projects can be shared with the broader university community, allowing for recognition and feedback.

Collaborative Opportunities: Engage in collaborative research projects with peers and mentors, gaining practical experience and building professional connections.

Should you have any questions related to research or how to get involved, please don’t hesitate to contact me at Andrew.McIntosh@life.edu.
